We're located in the northwest corner of Alabama in the small town of Killen. Our elders, deacons, and many other dedicated Church members have spent a great deal of time and effort to make this site informative and user friendly. The Killen church of Christ strives to worship according to God's will as scripturally specified in the Bible.
2 Timothy 3:16-17(NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

160 Days of Prayer
During the next 160 days, let us pray that God will lead us, touch our hearts with His love and help us to learn more about Him. We will learn how His special people came about, were changed and became a great nation. Then we will see this great nation fall into ruins because they turned away from Him.
The Old Testament is a school master and history lesson. There is so much useful knowledge in the Old Testament that we as a church need to understand more fully.
The time required to read through the Old Testament at about 5 chapters a day is 160 days. This will be a long term process but one that can be exceedingly beneficial to those who are willing to apply themselves to this task for this length of time.
The Old Testament is approximately four times longer than the New Testament and so this study will be four times longer than the 40 days we spent in the New Testament.
"Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls."
